Tone it and tan it!

If you are like so many people out there, losing weight is your #1 New Year's resolution. Try these tips to keep you on track.

The best way to stay motivated is to switch it up, the gym isn't the only place to get a great workout. Go for a long walk in the park, run on the beach or take a kickboxing class. Anything that breaks up the monotony of going to the gym doing the same workout day in and day out.

Another way to keep up yourself going is self tanning. I know I feel much better when I have a little color. It helps to diminish the appearance of cellulite and gives you a healthy glow. I have tried so many, the ones that work best for me is Dermaquest DermaGlow Self Tanner Body ($42) and Face ($26). I love this formulation because it gives you a natural look with a light fragrance and no streaks. The face tanner is the best I have ever used! The result is a natural, healthy glow. 

To get the best results, remember to exfoliate and moisturize before applying any self tanner. Make sure you use a heavier moisturizer on your feet, knees and elbows.
