At last night's state dinner, Michelle Obama looked stunning in a sweeping red Alexander McQueen gown.

In Chinese culture, the color red symbolizes happiness and prosperity, so it only seems fitting the First Lady chose to wear red for dinner with the Chinese President. Unfortunately, the color choice was not well received and has been heavily criticized.
